NON-BOAT OWNERS: Drive halfway in to camp, park in our lot at the "P" by the Admin Building (see the orange X in the map graphic) You and your gear will be transported by golf cart to the lake.
BOAT OWNERS with TRAILERS: Drive all the way until the road ends at the lake. Ramp your boat in (see the maroon X in the map graphic) and park south of the levee in the grassy area. Catch a ride in a golf cart or you're welcome to walk the short distance.

From Omaha-
Head North on I-29 to Exit 95 (Little Sioux Exit)
Turn Right (East) on road F20 toward Little Sioux
Proceed through the stop sign crossing K45
From the railroad crossing, you will enter the town of Little Sioux and proceed about 1.3 miles
Turn left onto Main Street
Proceed about 2.2 miles to the bottom of the Loess Hills
Turn left (North) onto Larpenteur Memorial Road to proceed to Little Sioux Scout Ranch (there are signs for the camp)
Camp will be about 3.4 miles on your right.
Non-Boat Owners park in lot by admin, then take golf cart ride to lake.
Boat Owners with Trailers park south of levee in grass lot after ramping your boat at the lake.

IMPORTANT REMINDERS:
There is NO Power at the boat shed or boat ramps this year. Power is at the levee campsite, the front workshop or the 2 shelter buildings.
NO Cell Service on the Lake.
Cell Signal at LSSR Entry Gate on Larpenteur Road.
NO Grocery Stores; only convenience gas-marts in Mondamin, Pisgah or Moorhead.
TWO Water Well Pumps, one by the boat shed and the levee campsite.

TRANSPORTATION & BOATS
Carpooling; self-organized riders to meet at SNB in Omaha Friday morning for a prompt 7 am departure.
Anglers bringing their own boats can connect with organizers for ramp and logistic details. See you at the Lake Lot before 8 am.
Johnboats with trolling motors are provided as well as guided bass boats by Tom Toms Guide Service.
GEAR & PREPARATIONS
Complimentary various fishing gear will be provided. Bring your own favorite gear, rod, reels, tackle and lures.
Dress for a day of outdoor fishing. Bring your own sunscreen, sunglasses, hats, shoes, medicines, batteries, fuel and personal lucky angler accessories.
Meals and refreshments provided. Ice, bottled waters, soft drinks and adult beverages provided in addition to Bourbon samples.
TOURNAMENT RULES
This is a FUN catch and release tournament. Be safe. The largest bass and most bass will win awards.
Fishing licenses are not required.
Use artificial lures, pork trailers and biodegradable soft baits. Stay tied down until the tourney's start.
One rod per angler with one active cast at a time. Resist Trolling, Switching, and Sharing.
Keep catches alive in typical conventional sport manner. When sight fishing, hook bass inside the mouth. Angling from the boat is proper, but we have seen some impressive reel-ins from the shore!
BOURBON TASTING & CIGARS
An array of exquisite bourbons and fine cigars will be presented. Enjoy tasting and comparing samples based on palate, appearance, color, aroma, and finish.
Joel Lavelle of Proof Whiskey Bar & Craft Cocktails will be your host.
ON-SITE ITEMS:
Johnboats are on shore by the lake. The boat shed has life vests, cushions, rods, reels, tackle boxes, lures, buoys, rope, motors, paddles, Adirondack chairs, and Johnboat batteries will be charged in advance.
There is a beach area between the old boat ramp and the new boat ramp for lounging or sport.

Scouting provides our local youth the opportunity to learn and practice ethical leadership. Through engaging outdoor programs, service projects and mentoring opportunities, Scouts develop into outstanding future world citizens.
All proceeds directly benefit local Scouts in the Mid-America Council. Benefited Value for Bass & Bourbon is $150 per angler for meal service, or $300 per boating duo. Donations are tax deductible as allowed by law. Scouts send out tax docs every January or upon request at any time after your contribution.
