Big Give Day Keynote Speaker
Daniel "Rudy" Ruettiger
Rudy will speak live onstage to share his personal experiences of triumph and powerful messages of overcoming adversity. He is the Notre Dame Football walk-on player with 27 seconds of glory against Georgia Tech in 1975, and inspiration for the 1993 movie RUDY. "Being prepared is Good!" says Rudy.

Any Scouting Adult can be a Table Host! Fill your 8-Top with members, families, and friends to support your Unit. Earn 25% Cash Back and Free Rank Advancement for units who meet their Investment in Character Goal. Due date for dollars pledged and paid is January 31, 2025. No charge to register as a table host, but attending guests are highly encouraged to donate at the event.
Scout Supporters and Enthusiasts:
Host a Table (Sign up for Free as an Individual Recruiter) and fill your 8-Top with friends, family, and colleagues. Invite members of your community to learn about Scouting and be inspired to make a financial contribution! No charge to register, but attending guests are highly encouraged to donate at the event.
Big Give Day Luncheon is an annual fundraiser that supports Scouting operations in the Mid-America Council.
Your contributions directly impact the future leaders we are nurturing today!
Essential Supplies: Your support funds programs, volunteer training, merit badge colleges, overnight resident camps, day camps, and district dinners.
Financial Assistance: We provide financial aid to Scouts in need, ensuring every child can participate.
Community Service: Donations facilitate service projects like Scouting for Food, benefiting our community.
Operational Costs: Maintaining registration and advancement databases, performing background checks, and securing liability insurance are all made possible through your generosity.
The suggested donation for a seat at the Big Give Luncheon is $200. All donations support local Scouts!

Scouting provides our local youth the opportunity to learn and practice ethical leadership. Through engaging outdoor programs, service projects and mentoring opportunities, Scouts develop into outstanding future world citizens.
All proceeds directly benefit local Scouts in the Mid-America Council. Donations are tax deductible as allowed by law.
Scouts send out tax docs every January or upon request at any time after your contribution.
